APD in collaboration with NMCDHH, Vancro, and RCGA will host a community event for members of the hearing loss community on Saturday, May 2, at the APD University Substation at 1009 Bradbury Dr. SE, from 9am to 11am. Participants will learn the differences between traditional interpreting (simultaneous and consecutive) and sight translation, including the processing differences and strategies to approach the work. The workshop will include 1 hour dedicated to teaching conceptual knowledge and 1 hour dedicated to discussion and practice.
